February Business Meeting

Description: Typically this is our first meeting of the year. It provides the Chapter an opportunity catch up on the January State Chapter Presidents Meeting and to begin coordinating our RV outings for the season.

April Outing
Location: Creekside, Edinburg, VA
Description: As it has been for the last several seasons, the Chapter’s first outing of the year will be at Creekside. April is a popular month for Creedside and the number of sites we require are unavailable for the third weekend. As before the Creekside outing will be held the second weekend of April.

June Outing
Location: Misty Mountain Greenville, VA
Description: Located at the foot of the Blue Ridge Mountains near historic Charlottesville,
Virginia, Skyline Drive, the Blue Ridge Parkway and many other attractions. CAUTION: The local roads have LOW clearance bridges. Strongly recommended to stay on the Interstate when approaching Misty Mountain.

July Outing
Location: Small Country Louisa, VA
Description: Small Country Campground in close proximity to some of the most historic and revered tourist sites in America. Civil War buffs will love the location of our campground for the nearness to major battlefields like Trevilian Station & Wilderness, as well as historic Richmond, Fredericksburg, and more. You'll also be minutes and miles from Thomas Jefferson's Monticello, James Madison's Montpelier, and Michie Tavern.

August Outing
Location: Endless Caverns New Market, VA
Description: We are trying for an outing for the third weekend in August.This is a NASCAR RV Resort. We've never been to one of these and thought to give it a try. They have a really big screen for NASCAR Race broadcasts. The Theme for third weekend of August at Endless Caverns is Blues & BBQ. There will be music and BBQ-tastings. Bring your BBQ recipes and give it a try.

September Outing
Location: Heavenly Acres Campground
Description: Located at the base of the Blue Ridge Mountains, two hours south-west of Washington D.C. They are nestled at the foot of the Blue Ridge Mountains. Skyline Drive is only fifteen minutes away along with the Shenandoah National Park, Jefferson's Monticello, numerous antique stores, vineyards, caverns, historical sites and battlefields.

Location: Solomon Island Naval Recreation Center
Description: With much thanks to our retired military members we are able to enjoy beautiful fall views and sunsets from beside the Patuxent River. The area is filled with military and maritime history and great places to eat.

December Business Meeting
